About Me

Dr. Cynthia Owens K. Brown is a spirit-filled evangelical leader who is full of compassion for the lost, the hurting, and those who are bound by negative strongholds of life. God’s anointing upon her life is clearly seen in the lives that have been changed through her preaching, teaching, untiring service, and prayers.

When offered a position at one of New York City’s largest, historic Methodist organization, while on an internship for her Doctor of Ministry degree, she declined the offer. She explained that her special call was to bring hope to the people of Camden, a city racked with crime, violence, and no economic base. Her family and friends were concerned for her safety, because, at the time, Camden was statistically deemed the most violent and poorest city in the nation. The Lord God blessed the works of her hands, and a new church was planted in Camden, as the lives of many were changed.

Dr. Brown is a gifted and powerful speaker and teacher. Her voice reverberates from the pulpits of the church, from the pulpits of the streets of Camden, as well as from podiums of educational institutions.

After more than 26 years in the ministry, Dr. Brown is known as a visionary leader who is making a significant difference in the lives of individuals, families, communities, and in the Body of Christ.
